Create Server Container

Follow these steps to deploy Stape or Taggrs:

1. In your GTM account, click the Google Tag Manager logo to access the Account page.
2. Select the Accounts tab.
3. Click the three-dot menu (Options).

4. Click Create Container.

   

5. Enter your Container name.

6. Select Server as the container type.

7. Click Create.

   

8. Click the Close icon (X) to discard the installation snippet and proceed.

Server Container Settings

1. Navigate to the Admin tab.

2. Click Container Settings.

   

3. Click Set up your tagging server.

   

4. Select Manually provision tagging server.

5. Copy the Container Config string. You will need this to link your GTM container with external services like Stape or Taggrs.

Server Container URLs

This setting enables Tag Assistant and ensures the server container receives data correctly.

Requirement

Before proceeding, ensure you have already configured your domain in your server-side service provider (e.g., Stape or Taggrs). You will need that URL for the next step.

1. Click Add URL.

2. Enter the URL configured in your server-side service provider (e.g., https://xyz.yourdomain.com).
